What we do

The Modern Work Foundation fosters collaborations that help make the UK labour market work better for everyone. We call this approach Collective Regulation.

We do this by bringing together the voices of worker, business and government to facilitate change that balances the needs of individuals, organisations and the economy.

We work in areas as diverse as hiring practices, supply chain transparency, gig economy rights and worker voice metrics. And that's just the beginning.

Vehicles for change

	The Better Hiring Institute seeks to make hiring faster, fairer and safer and is one of the leading voices for business in the UK. We work with over 15,000 representatives spanning employers, HR professionals, MPs and civil servants to raise standards.
	JobsAware is a leading platform for worker voice in the UK, providing over 50,000 workers in 2023 with free help & advice and enabling them to report potential labour abuses. We work closely with regulators and enforcement agencies to raise standards.
	The Modernising Employment APPG is a cross-party group of MPs and Peers with a shared interest in understanding how the UK labour market can lead the world in driving growth and providing a level playing field for everyone.
